Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
I met Lauren Lapkus through mutual friends while doing improv at UCB. I photographed a few shows that her team, Boys Club For Men (man, I miss that team), was performing in, as well as a couple others. Lauren is hilarious and brilliant and brave and creative.
When she left for LA, I said she was going to be famous. It was only a matter of time. I’d be lying if I said I was the only one who called it though. Now you can see Lauren be hilarious and brilliant and brave and creative on your own TV set:
Tonight on NBC’s “Are You There, Chelsea?” at 8:30pm EST.
CONGRATULATIONS, LL!!
“Sometimes something is everything people promise it will be. Like [redacted], disney world and lauren lapkus.” - me on gchat to Mackenzie, 6/14/2009.
I’m saying, this should basically become a thread where everyone talks about when they found out Lapkus was amazing.
